This lovely rare little piece of Bauer history as we all know as Eddie Bauer 1920s 30s hook.
Founded in 1920 Eddie Bauer was born October 19, 1899 on Orcas Island in Puget Sound, who invented outdoor clothing and sporting goods equipment, as he was an avid outdoorsman himself.
He retired in 1968 and sold his company to Seattle investors naming one William Niemi and a few other investors who then turned and sold to General Mills and later Spiegel Inc.
During WW2 production at Bauer's factory in Seattle was diverted to military needs, with parka jackets, sleeping bags, and countless other items top meet military orders.
Eddie Bauer lived in N.W Bellevue to enjoy the outdoor life after retiring from the company he originally founded.
He died in Bellevue April 18. 1986 at the age of 85.
